Psychological effects
Anxiety is the most common mental disorder that can make an individual sweat during their sleep. Supposedly we are unconscious during our sleep, but how can we be unconscious and still sweat? Many researchers say that it is caused by anxiety disorder. Studies show sleep deprivation can cause anxiety disorder. Also panic attacks during sleep can be a leading cause to have night sweats. Any high risk stress can cause night sweats. Although panic attacks are not as frequent as day time attacks but can last a couple of minutes and can have some troubles going back to bed.
Anxiety- stress, worry, and panic
Anxiety and the heart:
Anxiety can cause rapid heart rate known as tachycardia, which, can increase the risk of sudden cardiac arrest. Increase blood pressure. Which, can cause coronary disease, weakening of the heart muscle, and heart failure. Also we can notice a decrease of heart rate variability with can be the cause of a heart attack. Anxiety can make the heart over work itself causing an individual to have more heart problems than usual. This can be very fatal to ones health.
Different types of anxiety disorders:
1. Panic Disorder: extreme agitation accompanied by dizziness, chest pains, stomach discomfort, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate. Can be mistaken for a heart attack.
2. PTSD: Shocking or frightening incident that can cause many triggers to reoccur emotions and physical touch.
3. OCD: many thoughts and worries to preform the same actions over and over.

Relation to the Schools of Thought
Many different types of anxiety disorders can also follow the guide lines of the major schools of thought. During the time I researched I was able to find connections between behaviorism, humanistic, cognitive, gestalt, and structuralism. Although I would like to focus on the cognitive psychology. Cognitive Psychology is the study of the way people think, perceive, remember, and learn. I chose to mainly talk about the cognitive issues of anxiety because anxiety can be caused by the way someone was brought up in the world, or in other words the way people are raised. During the time I was researching I found cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety. It is the most commonly used therapy to help calm an individuals panic disorders, social anxiety, and phobias.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy:
examines how negative thoughts, or cognitions, contribute to anxiety.
The professionals preforming the type of therapy to a patient is to understand the way one perceives a situations.
